Weird Fabric Warning

So, while ironing the blue-ish fabric in the center, I noticed a warning on the selvage:

"Do not use for children's sleepwear"

Why in the world not? Does anyone know the reason for this strange warning? Is the fabric poisonous or something?

it is most likely easily flammable.

Usually the fabric is not flame-retardent when this label is on it.

I have found that disclaimer on most of the "licensed" fabric I buy: Mickey Mouse, Dora, Sesame Street ... I think they are just covering themselves so in case you are wearing it to bed, it catches on fire and you get burned you can't sue. Cotton is cotton right, but then again fabric labelled for sleepwear does have to meet certain flammability standards and this may just be the industry's way of saying that it has not been tested or does not meet sleepwear standards .... I'm rambling ...
