Holy cow, lots of posts from me today!
I forgot to post this video I took of the pretty pink thread going on the bobbin.
Mostly, I wanted to show you the weird clicking sound coming from that end of the machine - I mentioned it before. The repair guy said not to worry about it, but it doesn't sound nice... So if the sound works, you should hear the hum of the machine, and a rhythmic clicking. It's definitely related to something turning in the machine, because the frequency of the clicks depends on the speed of the machine.

Thanks for your comment today. I know what you mean by feeling weird being a 26-year-old quilter. I felt exactly the same way! I was so afraid that people I would think I was strange. I have been so grateful for the blogging world showing me other young quilters! I love it!
I also love that pink dissappearing 9-patch quilt. Wonderful! Good luck with your bobbin-winder. :)
I tell you there are a few things that I listen to to make sure they are running well. The dishwasher, the washing machine, the dryer and definitely the sewing machine. I think there is something not sounding right...and it is a worry... maybe take it to another guy.
you are a busy girl...
I'm no sewing machine expert but that does NOT sound right even to my untrained ear. I'm with Nanci, take it to a different repair guy.
