Bathroom Quilting

Is that a weird title? I guess :)

But I'm back from my visit to the States (Cape Cod), and while I didn't make it to a Joann's, I did find this tiled bathroom floor in a public washroom on a beach in Cape Cod near Provincetown:

It's almost a disappearing nine-patch, except it isn't, if you look closely!

Love finding quilting patterns other than on fabrics :)

It's amazing where we quilters will see quilt patterns, we don't think you are the least bit odd for finding this pretty pattern :0)

That would make an excellent quilt!

I do that a lot with many of the photos my husband takes in the city. Right now I am trying to plan out how to take one of his bridge photos and quilt it (once I am done with my current project, that is). There is inspiration everywhere you look!

I'm so jealous you were on the Cape! I lived there for about 3 years when I was stationed at Otis and I miss it dearly. I hope your trip was nice!

Funny! I recognize that tile pattern.

A friend of mine has a quilty looking rug and everytime I visit I have a hard time concentrating on our conversation because I'm always trying to figure out how to make a quilt in the same pattern.
