Cape Cod

I had a comment from Dudette about my trip to Cape Cod, so I thought I'd post a couple of photos from my trip, though I usually keep this blog for quilty things only - please indulge me :)

I LOVED these signs. I call them Tippy Truck Signs :) In Canada you get a car with swerving lines behind its tires.

I was apparently really keen to see a State Trooper, cause I had a hard time staying under the speed limit initially - there were so few dots for the miles per hour reading on the speedometer... I must have managed to stay somewhat within the speed limit since I was never pulled over :) (No worries, I wasn't driving when I took this photo!)

Cape Cod beach (where the quilty bathroom was!)

Overall, the beach in Cape Cod was very similar to the beaches we have here in PEI, which is why PEI is such a popular vacation destination in the summer - everything was just bigger on Cape Cod: bigger dunes, bigger waves, bigger beaches! It was great to see the famous Cape and I'd love to go back there on vacation as opposed to a work trip.

Beautiful photos! I've been to Cape Cod before (used to live in Connecticut), but I've never been to PEI. Being the big Anne fan that I am, I would love to go there one day.

Glad you liked the Cape! You captured the light perfectly...we Cape Codders love living here, though PEI is a great place to visit!

Lovely pictures, but that last shot is gorgeous. It could be in a magazine!

Aww your pictures made me kind of sad. That sign with the Cape Cod in bushes, after you get off the bridge is close to the base I used to live on/be attached to. It is a lovely and beautiful place. I miss it a lot. Thanks for the pictures and I'm glad you had a good time.

Great pictures! I love Cape Cod. I actually just booked a nice Cape Cod vacation rental for our family vacation. We try to go every year. It is just so beautiful there. Thanks so much for sharing.
